PERFORMANCE AND CREATIVE LAB
at Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington, NC Earth Day, April 2024 Our performance lab was experimental, and we brought together emerging and established artists from various disciplines in a multi-disciplinary setting. The goals were: 1) to examine the nature of collaboration 2) be open to new influences 3) be receptive to how people, objects, and places interact and collaborate 4) to examine how movement and thinking are related, within the context of Mx Luttringhaus' dissertation research on dance as full-body gesture 5) to see what happens and not pre-determine outcomes 6) gather ideas for the projects "Letter to Water", "Non-binaries in Nature", "Gestures of Water", "Drawing While Black" |
