Based on Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Nights Dream', 'Hippolyta's Dissappearance' is a work of interdisciplinary dance theatre for a cast of real life women and virtual/video-projected men, investigating the psychology of gender identity and separation, patriarchy, marriage, humiliation, the vicissitude and inconstancy of love, and the purpose of theatre in society.
