One of Ms Luttringhaus' oldest works, this piece explores the relationship between two best friends. What starts out as stubbornness and defiance turns into acceptance and compromise. This piece is overall of a very positive and life embracing nature. It is a very physical dance piece. The large colorful paintings depict the musical score and the floor pattern of the dance as well as underline the mood of the piece. The colors are the primary colors red, blue and yellow with bold greens and purples. "Conversation in Blue and Green" landmarks the beginning of a long work relationship and frienship between MS Luttringhaus and Ms Lieske and many later pieces take the relationship as inspiration.
