The introvert meets the extrovert. It feels as if "Half Me, Twice You" is looking at one of the loneliest places of the soul. As if amnesia had taken it all. There are few moments of emotion that will have the power of imprinting a lasting impression on the two people's lives. A feeling remains, not a memory, but a hint of a more fulfilled life.
A black web is dividing a black space. Most of the piece takes place on the web itself, while 'past' and 'present', upstage and downstage of the web, are used only occasionally. Lighting from the side isolates the dancers in darkness.
Costumes are grey suits. Barefoot. No make-up. The two dancers look alike.
