"Just can't Stop" is the first piece out of a series of short, upbeat solos, duets and trios to folk music of various styles. They can be performed under the most simple conditions.
We don't need a dance floor or even a stage. These pieces are perfect for music and street festivals. But they are just as amazing in a theatrical environment with lighting. They can be shown together or separate from each other. This is a very flexible concept and is easily toured. We have been touring our first folk piece "Just Can't Stop" all throughout NC since September 2003 and are bringing it to SC, VA and NY and Germany.
"Just can't Stop" has been performed by students through our annual arts in education projects.
The pieces are physical and captivating, while adding some acrobatic spice to driving rhythms of excellent folk music from different cultures. Gypsy, Bluegrass, Swing, Tango, Irish folk, and more. The music is moving and uplifting.
The performances are for all audiences. The pieces are based on the music and the joy of dancing.
The music will be played live wherever possible.
"Just Can't Stop" is the signature piece and widely performed solo about not being able to stop dancing when this music plays.
