This work is based on the overwhelming story of a young woman who escaped the brutal Islamic Republic regime of Iran and came to America to save her life. This collaboration between Fereshteh Rostampour, Lighting Designer/Asst. Professor of Scenic & Lighting Design at UNCW, and Karola Luttringhaus, artistic director/choreographer of ALBAN ELVED DANCE COMPANY captures personal experiences in an interdisciplinary performance of stunning imagery, text, sound, movement and dance. The Department of theatre at UNCW is hosting this exceptional stage performance on Feb. 12 & 13 at 8:00 p.m.
